Dear Florida School District Employee, The Department of Education is proud to announce new resources benefitting students, teachers, and parents in the State of Florida. Florida Tutor Network and Florida Learning Network are Web sites that provide tutoring and educational resources online at no cost. These are some of the features you will find in Florida Tutor Network and Florida Learning Network:
Florida Tutor Network Florida Tutor Network is designed for use by students and teachers in districts that are members of educational consortia. If your district is a member of the North Florida Educational Consortium (NEFEC), Panhandle Area Educational Consortium (PAEC), or Heartland Consortium, please follow these steps to obtain your account information: Step 1: Go to http://www.FLTutorNetwork.com/Security/RetrieveSignOnName.aspx Step 2: Enter your e-mail address on file with the Department of Education (in most cases this will be the same e-mail address at which you received this notice) and then select “Retrieve My Sign-in Name.” You will receive a message telling you that your sign-in name has been sent to you via e-mail. Step 3: Check your e-mail inbox for the notice from the Florida Tutor Network Help Desk. Note: If you do not see the e-mail in your inbox, you may need to check your spam filter or junk mail folder and add Florida Tutor Network to your list of approved senders. Step 4: Go to http://www.FLTutorNetwork.com and use the sign-in name provided in the e-mail. Your password is the same as your sign-in name. The first time you log into the site, you will be asked to update your password, security challenge question, and security answer. Florida Tutor Network is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Hours for online tutoring are as follows: Grades K through 5 Grades 6 through 12 If you need assistance, you may contact us online by using the Need Help link on the home page or by phone from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Thursday at (866) 251-6587. Florida Learning Network If your district is not a member of one of the consortia listed above, please follow these steps to obtain your account information: Step 1: Go to http://www.FLLearningNetwork.com/Security/RetrieveSignOnName.aspx Step 2: Enter your e-mail address on file with the Department of Education (in most cases this will be the same e-mail address at which you received this notice) and then select “Retrieve My Sign-in Name.” You will receive a message telling you that your sign-in name has been sent to you via e-mail.
