The vocabulary words are academically specific vocabulary for the grade level indicated.  These are words that all students in that particular grade level should be familiar with and use on a regular basis.  These are also words that will be repeated in the classroom and students are expected to know these words for tests, including standardized tests such as the FCAT.

The following are a few suggestions for usage at home:
1. Make flashcards
2. Have a word a day where the student must either use the word a certain amount of
times or indicate how the word could be used.
